Becoming Blind
The sky blushes pink, embarrassed cheeks coloring red
And I squeeze everything beautiful into one gaze
This is the last moment until I only see the darkness within my head
Until I will bump into thoughts and walls, the world as a new maze
So I drink in the pink sunset like strawberry flavored pop
And I wait for the nothing to come, the absence of light, the none
Waiting just dreading for my eyes to stop
Three, two, one.
