I don't know how we look the same When all you wear is a mask I don't understand what it is that's your aim Yet I am too afraid to ask So the fact that we are only different by our names Means that I too, must be wearing a mask. -anna sluder 

The enigma of this life Is not that you're afraid  Or I am afraid  It is more than between you and me  It is a mystery that to us has been lied For the enigma of this life is that we're all terrified.  -anna sluder

I tap my toes to the hum of this earth,  Capering and prancing in the breeze,  Reminding me that this life is worth,  All of the goodness and cruelties.  -anna sluder 

I was not designed to be controlled by this world's time Where I must be square and perfectly planned  Instead of living in a box that society riddles me into thinking is mine, I will step out and break society's worthless demands.  -anna sluder 

I'd like to think that the reason I have the eyes of an insomniac, Is because other people lose sight of what I always find, For I step tirelessly into the dark, and never look back, Since the best things are found in the quiet shadows of your mind. -anna sluder

He was fire and she was the water  Until one day she got tired of always putting out his flames That she decided to let him grow hotter and hotter Until he caught her on fire without any aim.  -anna sluder
