We Are the Ignorant Judge

Everyone misjudges glass, for you hate it
When it makes you bleed from your hand
But yet everyone loves to walk on it
When you scrunch your toes in the sand
Everyone despises the darkness of the night
The cold gasps of the black coma of the sky
Until the stars flood the world's absence of light
Then dark doesn't seem like such an ugly thing to deny
Perhaps everything is misconstrued
For even the thorns on the rose
That protects itself instead of causing hearts to be slewed
Is something we never will fully know
Then do we ever understand anything?
Perhaps the universe is too selcouth
For the gaping truth of this to bring
For we are nothing more than youth
So let us be dizzy and drunk in our mind
On how we think the world exists
For no one will see the truth even missed
If we weren't ever aware of it in the birth of mankind.
