Flowers in Her Hair

she wears flowers in her hair crown,

draws them on her wrists until there's no room,

and lies in the pouring rain as if she could never drown,

receiving her wish when leaves sprout from her wrists in greenish plumes,

and the petals in her hair spill the sweetest of perfumes,

for the girl had truly gained the precious ability to bloom.
